It gives me great pleasure to introduce the website of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the people in Australia and New Zealand hoping that it will provide an opportunity to the visitors to learn about Jordan’s political, economic, cultural and other aspects ,its endeavours with Australia and New Zealand and its contribution on the regional and international arena.

With the dynamic and progressive leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the process for political, economic and social reform is underway promising a prosperous future for all Jordanian generations with the efforts of Her Majesty Queen Rania in several social, educational and human rights fields. Jordan also marches the path of reforms and changes to achieve a lasting peace through which our country will thrive and our people will prosper.

Our mission in Canberra is to get this message of hope for the future to all Australians and New Zealanders and to all our visitors from different parts of the world.

The Embassy of Jordan website also aims at strengthening the relationship with the Jordanian citizens and Australian and New Zealanders from Jordanian descent and to provide them with direct and sufficient information needed from the Consular Section.

Through the Jordanian Community section website which provides a forum to the Jordanians community in both Australia and New Zealand, we look forward to build friendship, cooperation and exchange of new ideas and experiences.
